Aircraft 6-DOF Flight Dynamics Simulator

A from-scratch nonlinear six-degree-of-freedom rigid-body aircraft flight-dynamics simulator in Python, now extended with reusable trim, finite-rate actuators, fail-fast simulation guards, state-aligned reporting, and an adverse-yaw dynamics study with local modal analysis.

Flight Dynamics Toolkit — Stengel FLIGHTv2 Reproduction

A restructured, configuration-driven version of Robert F. Stengel’s FLIGHTv2.m six-degree-of-freedom simulation. The underlying physics is intentionally preserved while global state, hard-coded conditions, and tightly coupled files are replaced with modular components, JSON scenarios, tests, and documented MATLAB/GNU Octave portability.
